 The Parkway Predators could not have chosen a more perfect day for their 1st Annual Appreciation Cookout. The weather was beautiful and even though the event got started a little late, the overall success of it was unquestionable.  In attendance was motor cycle clubs from over the tri-state area. Some of the clubs in attendance were Sexii Sistas, Lady Riderz, Xr8ed MC, Luscious Divas, Extremely Dangerous from NJ, D.Y.M.E.S MC and repping Connecticut New World Order which were presented with a plaque of recognition for coming to the aid of Tiz president of Parkway Predators. Now as I mentioned the weather was beautiful and family and friends showed up to support the Parkway Predators....the kids in attendance were not left out as there was face painting, hula hoops, balloon animals, free icees and back to school supplies courtesy of the Parkway Predators. The event was hosted by Local talent/radio personality K-star who did a marvelous job. The music was on point as the DJ played a variety of music from Hip Hop to old school R&B and Reggae. Everyone in my opinion had a good times and I know the enjoyed the food as there was a constant line for the burgers, hotdogs,fried whiting and the much talked about jerk chicken. There was performances from some local talent that kept the adults entertained and as I mentioned earlier President Tiz presented New World Order MC from Connecticut with a plaque in recognition for coming to his aid when he burnt out his clutch on the highway in Ct. The whole event went over without any glitch and this being the 1st of its kind based on the success and support I know next year will be bigger and better.

Hello my BADH hunny bunnies! Well as you all can tell Mama Peach had another event that she covered.  This night it was all about the sweetest person I know, Jackie O's night.  Her party was originally supposed to be held at Universal Resort but it was moved to Rag Top. When I arrived at Jackie's party I was some what surprised at the turn out I saw because last year when I covered her party she had a very nice crowd. However I should have realized that I was back in NYC & dancehall peeps do not come out before 3am.  While I waited for more people to arrive I got myself a drink & went outside to chit chat with a few people.  I had a lovely time talking with June Plum, Chaka Shapes & Debbie aka Devi. Three really cool chicks. We chit chatted away about how we had been spending our summer so far & me being the proud G-Ma that I am I showed off pics of my grand daughter Madison to them. After finishing my drink I excused myself from them and went to work taking pictures.  I have to say that I was in some what better spirits this night with taking pictures.  I felt my passion for taking pictures come back alive in me & I guessed it showed because I had a quite a few people laughing and smiling as I walked around to take pictures them. I love when Jackie keeps a party because she brings out a mature crowd that just has such a pleasant vibe about them.  I saw my baby girl Sadio who was in town from Miami & we caught up with what was going on with our lives since I last saw her which was at my party.  I so love Sadio & I have to take her up on her offer of me going out to Miami to visit her. I had such a nice time taking pictures that time past by so fast because before I knew it the lights was on indicating that it was time to go home.  What I can tell you about Jackie party was that she did end up getting a ok turn out and the selectors did a good job at entertaining her patrons. This was my first party since returning back from my month long vacation down south.  I was in a shock when I arrived at Universal Resort & saw that my regular security Swat was no longer there. I just knew I was going to have a problem & sure enough I did.  The new security is some nasty personal.  The female security tried to rough handle me but Mama Peach was NOT having it. I had to let her know that she is not a correctional officer & I am not a inmate at Riker's Island.  I then went on to explain to her being she doesn't carry a gun, talking trash & playing billy bad ass is NOT the way to go when dealing with parties especially dancehall parties.  I then went on to let her know do her research on how Swat had to humble themselves the hard way after being bottled one night.  Andre (the owner for Universal Resort) was outside & he saw the situation going on between us. It seemed like he wanted to say something but at the same time let security do their job.  However security can effectively do their job without having to be rude and disrespectful the patron.  Again I say, we are dancehall patrons not inmates.  They are security NOT correctional officers.  If you want respect then you better damn well give respect. After telling the chica that on inside the club I went. Now I was pleasantly surprised that by the time I walked into Nikki Starr party that it was damn near filled to capacity (YOU GO GIRL)!  I was proud to see that Nikki's second party was better then her first party which did good as well last year.  While walking to where I normally go to get my equipment together I was greeted with a lot of hellos, pinches, hugs & cheers since people hadn't seen me in a while. I stalled in taking pictures for a minute because I just wasn't in the mood to. It's like the love for taking pictures has gone out of me because you never know who are the wolves in sheep clothing & I'm soooooo tired
